Our prez just signed a law into effect that allows suspension of habeas corpus, the essenece of our Constitutional rights. Ideally this thread would occur in a "politically" oriented tribe, but I can't help to think that being LGBT is automatically political. Not to mention that the suspension of habeas corpus and it's potential for abuse against LGBTs is not unrealistic.

Thu, November 16, 2006 - 5:10 PMlatin scares people. =o. Liberal = enemy combatant? Artistst= enemy combatant? Intellectual = enemy combatant? Environmentalist = enemy combatant? The list of potential enemy combatants could be very long. Sometimes I think most Americans haven't studied enough American History. A lot of the ideas that were around and the beginning of our country could be considered extremely radical by today's standards.
